Register & Subscribe

Step 2 – Registration) Before subscribing to a plan, you must register your appliance to get its unique S/N (Serial Number). The registration can be easily done from the Web GUI of your appliance by clicking on the “Register & Subscribe” blinking icon. At this step, you will need an OTP (One Time Password) that you can request by following the link “Get a One Time Password“. Enter your granted OTP in the OTP filed and press the SUBMIT button. Requesting a S/N, like any other operation that modifies your appliance configuration, requires a final validation from your part. To do so, press on the “blinking down arrow button in blue” and press the SUBMIT button again. Please note that during the whole Registration & Subscription process, your appliance should be connected to the internet.

CacheGuard Registration

Step 3 – Subscription) Once your appliance is registered, you must click again on the “Register & Subscribe” blinking icon to go to the “License Registration & Subscription” page. Follow the “Manage Subscription” link to either 1) Purchase a new subscription or 2) Request the validation of your already paid subscription (if you got an invoice reference) or 3) Submit your activation code (if you got any). Upon receipt of your payment or validation/activation request, you will receive all required information (including your License Key) to complete your subscription. For a rapid subscription, we recommend a payment method with automatic renewal (through PayPal Subscription or Bank Card Subscription).

CacheGuard Pricing Key Factors

Here you will find some key factors regarding our pricing system.

Appliance Users Capacity
In relation to the pricing, users are unnamed so the number of users can be assimilated to the number of connected devices. Also, we distinguish concurrent users from simultaneous users. Concurrent users may be passive while simultaneous users are all active (generate traffic). Therefore, when you purchase CacheGuard you are invited to select the right number of users for your need in order to get the adequate price. Caution: if you use a CacheGuard appliance beyond its installed capacity, your network traffic can be blocked or at least be slowed down.
UTM, Web & WAN Gateways
To implement CacheGuard as a UTM, Web or WAN Gatway, the most important factor is the total number of users. A capacity manager, integrated into CacheGuard-OS, tunes the installed system for a given number of users by assuming that all users are not active at the same time but only 20% of them. Therefore, when you purchase CacheGuard UTM, Web or WAN Gateway, please consider your total number of users. Caution: if you use a CacheGuard appliance beyond its installed capacity, your network traffic can be blocked or at least be slowed down.
WAF Gateway
To implement CacheGuard WAF, what counts is the total number of simultaneous connections to your Web servers. Therefore, when you purchase CacheGuard WAF, please consider the number of simultaneous users to handle. Caution: if you use a CacheGuard appliance beyond its installed capacity, your network traffic can be blocked or at least be slowed down.

Gateway Manager
The Gateway Manager price depends on the number of Gateways that you need to manage, If you need to purchase a second Manager to implement as a salve of a master one, you should purchase its dedicated subscription.

Download Services
Our URL Blacklists & Extended Antivirus Signatures are available as an optional download service related to a single CacheGuard appliance identified by its unique S/N which is exclusively delivered by our subscription services. That subscription allows one download per day, per blacklist category and per public IP address. Please note that our URL Blacklists service works upon an honor system and all abuses will be dropped.
Technical Support Levels
Our Support Services are dedicated to helping you get the most from your CacheGuard appliance. Depending on your requirements, we can provide 3 support levels that you can select during your subscription. Our support levels are as follows: the basic level via CacheGuard Help only, the standard and premium support contracts via our support portal.

How to Pay

You can purchase a subscription with automatic renewal through PayPal or Bank Card. You have also the possibility to purchase a subscription with manual renewal and pay by Money Transfer, PayPal or Bank Card. In case where you choose a subscription with automatic renewal, your account is charged after your validation and every month or year at the anniversary date of your subscription. Choosing a subscription with automatic renewal allows you to have your subscription rapidly activated.
