CacheGuard Appliance

A CacheGuard appliance can be either a bare metal or virtual machine powered by CacheGuard-OS. The result is referred to as CacheGuard-HW (for CacheGuard Hardware) or CacheGuard-VE (for CacheGuard Virtual Edition). To create a CacheGuard appliance, we install CacheGuard-OS on a machine with the necessary resources (such as CPU, RAM, etc.) and provide you with a fully configured, ready-to-deploy network appliance.

CacheGuard-VE

CacheGuard-VE (Virtual Edition) is a virtual appliance tailored to your specific requirements. It is tested and certified on most popular virtualization platforms that support OVA and/or VHD formats, including but not limited to VMware and Hyper-V. CacheGuard-VE is available for download as either an OVA (Open Virtual Appliance) or VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) file, which you can easily import into your virtualization system.

CacheGuard-HW

CacheGuard-HW is a hardware machine powered by CacheGuard-OS and ready to plug to your networks. Even though CacheGuard-OS supports almost all hardware made by well-known manufacturers, we can’t guaranty its compatibility with the latest device on the market. If you do not want to have to deal with compatibility issues, you can opt for CacheGuard-HW.

By choosing CacheGuard-HW, you gain the assurance of a certified hardware appliance built to meet your critical needs. Our hardware warranty period is 2 years for customers located in EU and 1 Year for customers located elsewhere.
