As the name suggests, the CacheGuard Mini Appliance is a compact (135 mm x 125 mm x 40 mm) hardware network appliance designed to enhance your online security and optimize network traffic. Powered by CacheGuard-OS, it functions as a UTM Gateway for up to 10 users. This fanless, silent appliance has low power consumption and is small enough to fit perfectly on your desk.

Low power consumption with AES-NI CPU
The CacheGuard Mini Appliance is powered by an Intel® Celeron® J4125 CPU, which consumes just 6 watts. Additionally, the J4125 integrates Intel® AES New Instructions (AES-NI), a set of instructions that enable fast and secure data encryption and decryption. AES-NI is especially beneficial for CacheGuard-OS SSL mediation/inspection and IPsec VPN functionality.
USB to Ethernet
CacheGuard-OS, running on a CacheGuard appliance, supports USB-to-Ethernet adapters. This allows you to add extra network interfaces for an auxiliary network or enhance the availability of your appliance through link bonding. You can simply plug these adapters into the USB ports. Please note that USB-to-Ethernet adapters are not included in the standard package.
