CacheGuard products come with comprehensive online and offline documentation, including a User’s Guide and a Command Line Manual. You can access the CacheGuard documentation from the installation CD-ROM, through CacheGuard administration interfaces (Console, SSH, and HTTPS), or online via the web.
CacheGuard Documentation – User’s Guide
The CacheGuard Documentation includes a User’s Guide that provides an overview of all CacheGuard functionalities. The “Getting Started” section in the User’s Guide helps you select the appropriate machine for installing CacheGuard-OS and configure basic settings. Other sections guide you through the setup of various CacheGuard features. The User’s Guide serves as an introduction to using CacheGuard products.

CacheGuard products provide a set of straightforward online commands accessible through a textual terminal interface (console or SSH). The CacheGuard Documentation includes a Command Line Manual that outlines the syntax and semantics of all commands, keywords, and parameters. Once you set the IP address of a CacheGuard appliance via the CLI, you can continue configuring it through the Web GUI at https://:8090
